Mearns Youth Football Club are delighted to offer high quality goalkeeper coaching to youth players from Aberdeenshire and Angus through the club’s qualified coach James Lock. The training will be available at the Old Academy Playing Fields in Laurencekirk on Saturday mornings commencing on the 24th of August.

The sessions will be split into 2 x age groups, with a max. 10 goalkeepers per session. The sessions will be booked/based on a 6 x week block at £30 i.e. £5 per session. The sessions times are:

9.00am – 10.15am – 9 to 12 years.
10.30am – 11.45am – 13 to 16 years.

• Handling • Shot Stopping • Angled Shot Stopping
• Winning 1v1’s • Dealing with Crosses • Dealing with Through Balls
• Distribution • Communication Skills • Understanding Your Role
• Confidence • Mental Toughness • GK Specific Fitness
